United Not Divided: Nancy’s Statement on Trump Assassination Attempt
The latest assassination attempt targeting President Trump is not just disturbing—it’s a warning about how far our political climate has deteriorated.
For years, conservatives have been labeled “extremists,” “radicals,” and “threats” simply for having different views. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲.
This is not harmless rhetoric.
When people are repeatedly dehumanized, it creates an environment where hostility escalates and violence becomes more likely. What we are seeing now is the consequence of that pattern.
This must stop.

Violence must be rejected—completely and unequivocally—from all sides. But those who have fueled division through constant attacks and labels bear responsibility for the climate we are in today.
I’m grateful President Trump, Melania, and others are safe, and thankful for the Secret Service and law enforcement who continue to protect lives.
America is strongest when we respect one another—even when we disagree. It’s time to return to that.
